Neil Carmichael

Neil Carmichael has extensive experience in the broadcasting and digital media operations sectors, currently serving as Manager of Digital Media Operations at Bell Media since January 2015, after holding the roles of Media Digitizer Coordinator and Media Digitizer. Prior to this, Neil worked at Sun News Network from December 2011 to January 2015, where responsibilities included leading workflow forecasting as a Broadcast Supervisor and supervising daily operations as a Senior Broadcast Operator. Neil's earlier experience includes a role as a Content Ingest Operator at Astral Media Inc. and an extensive tenure as a Master Control Operator, monitoring numerous channels and ensuring proper content transmission. Educated at Mohawk College with an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Broadcasting - Television and Communications Media, Neil has developed a strong foundation in digital media and broadcasting operations.
