Richard Wong

Richard Wong is currently the CFO at Benchling. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Houzz from May 2018 to November 2020. Richard has also held the position of Vice President Finance at LinkedIn from July 2010 to May 2018. In this role, they led a team of 100 finance professionals that were responsible for various finance functions at LinkedIn. These functions included global FP&A, investor relations, global treasury, global sales compensation, and strategic sourcing.

Some of Richard Wong's key accomplishments include building out and scaling three critical finance functions for LinkedIn from pre-IPO to post-IPO, playing an active role in the company's IPO, follow-on offering, convertible bond offering and all 22 earnings releases, and being responsible for all aspects of financial modeling and financial integration of LinkedIn’s M&A deals. Richard also led the annual planning process in hypergrowth environment for four consecutive years post-IPO and their team received IR Magazine’s “IPO of the Year” award. Lastly, they helped drive and review new country expansion efforts in places such as Hong Kong, Japan, and Brazil.

Richard Wong has an MBA in Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
