Alan Williams

Alan Williams has extensive experience in the retail and bedding sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Bensons for Beds since June 2020. Prior to this role, Alan held various leadership positions at Steinhoff UK from August 2017 to June 2020, including Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Bensons for Beds. Alan's career at Steinhoff UK also included a role as Managing Director for Bensons/Harveys and the Bed Division from March 2011 to 2017. Before joining Steinhoff UK, Alan served as Managing Director at Sleepmasters from October 2005 to 2011 and held several positions at Sleepmasters Plc, including Retail Operations Director and Sales Director from October 1999 to 2005. Alan completed education at Fulford Comprehensive York from 1972 to 1977.
