Alexander Moshinsky is the Director of Operational Advisory and Risk Management at Berdon. Alexander has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Berdon, they were a Principal/Consultant at Independent Advisory Services, where they provided advisory and consulting services to clients in the areas of internal audit, ERM, corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and 302 compliance, ITGC, accounting/financial policy, FCPA and AML compliance and examinations, and fraud risk assessments and anti-fraud controls.

Previously, Mr. Moshinsky was the First Vice President and Director of Risk Control at Julius Baer / Artio Global Investors. At Julius Baer, they established and managed the ERM function, including the system of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX) and ERM related to operational, compliance, reporting and strategic risks. Alexander also designed, implemented and monitored key risk indicators (KRI). In addition, they prepared process, risk and control documentation for entity level, business and IT general and application risks and controls.

Mr. Moshinsky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Alexander Moshinsky obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting cum laude from Boston College. Alexander is certified as a public accountant by both the New York State Education Department and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
