Gill Morrissey

Gill Morrissey serves as Chief Counsel & Company Secretary for Berkshire Hathaway European Insurance DAC and Berkshire Hathaway International Insurance Ltd since January 2021. Morrissey previously held the position of Chief Counsel for Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company in Hong Kong & Macau from February 2016 to January 2021 and also worked as Counsel (Legal Director) in Corporate & Regulatory Insurance at Clyde & Co. Earlier experience includes roles as Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright and Solicitor at William Fry, with a focus on insurance and reinsurance matters. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Technological University Dublin, alongside various certifications related to legal practice and corporate governance.
