Derek Locke

Derek Locke serves as the Operating Director of Portfolio Support at Berkshire Partners since January 2020. Prior to this role, Derek was the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at CSG from May 2016 to January 2020, where responsibilities included driving corporate strategy and coordinating business unit strategy development. Derek's earlier experience includes serving as a Partner and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group from August 1998 to May 2016, focusing on strategy development in the telecommunications sector as well as working with public sector and education clients. Derek began a career in consulting with Andersen Consulting from 1990 to 1992 and held the position of Senior Manager at Sprint from 1992 to 1996, where efforts in an internal consulting group led to early promotion. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Business from The University of Kansas.
