Jan Altersten

Jan Altersten is the CEO of Arvato Financial Solutions at Bertelsmann. Jan has held this position since December 2011. Prior to this, they were the Business Area Manager for Gothia Financial Group AB from June 2008 to December 2011. From January 2001 to December 2001, they interned at Finansinspektionen. Jan then became the CEO of JSM Investment AB in November 2011 and held that position until October 2013. In January 2006, they became the Deputy MD and Head of Compliance for Bank2 Bankaktiebolag and held that position until December 2008. Jan then became a lawyer and founding partner for Divitas Juridik AB in May 2003 and held that position until May 2006. Lastly, they served as a Second Lieutenant for Försvarsmakten (Swedish Army) from January 1996 to June 1997.

Jan Altersten's educational career includes a Juristlinjen degree in financial law from Stockholm University, an executive education certification from Harvard Business School in change management, and a certification from the Swedish Academy of Board Directors as a certified director.
