Gilles Simeon

Gilles Simeon is the Head of HR at Bestmile. Gilles has been with the company since May 2017 and has played a vital role in its growth and development.

Simeon is responsible for all HR matters for Bestmile's employees spread across different countries. Gilles has developed people analytics to support business decision making, partnered with the business on organizational design, and set up and implemented HR strategy through the board to support Bestmile's growth.

Simeon has also consulted with line management, provided compensation support, conducted regular meetings with respective business units, worked closely with line managers to resolve complex employee relations issues, and maintained in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.

In addition, Simeon has coached the leadership team, provided guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning, and implemented performance review processes and tools. Gilles has also set up talent development initiatives to identify, nurture and develop Bestmile's best talented employees.

Gilles Simeon has a Master of Human Resource Management from Temple University - Fox School of Business and Management, a Brevet Fédéral de Spécialiste en Ressources Humaines / gestion des RH en entreprise from HRSE, and a Postgraduate Diploma in HR & Talent Management from the Singapore Human Resource Institute. Gilles also has a Master of Business and Sales from Université Paris - Val-de-Marne (Paris XII), and a DEUG in Economics Sciences from the University of Amiens. Additionally, they hold certifications from AIHR in People Analytics / HR Analyst, from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Foundations, from Wharton Executive Education in People analytics, and from Designing Talent Inc in Certified Talent Development Coach.
