Marco Laumanns

As CTO, Marco is responsible for guiding the development of the Bestmile Mobility Services Platform architecture and the company’s intellectual property. Prior to joining Bestmile, Marco was a project leader for transportation and operations research at IBM Research where he worked with leading public transportation operators and agencies. He is a renowned expert in optimization and transportation, has co-authored over 100 scientific articles with over 17,000 citations, and serves on the executive committee of the Swiss Operations Research Society as well as the editorial board of the EURO Journal on Transportation and Logistics.
