Fabio Boninsegni has a strong background in credit evaluation and risk management. Fabio began their career in 1997 at Banca Caboto, where they served as Head of Credit. In this role, they evaluated and sanctioned credit for medium to large corporates, banks, and non-banking financial institutions. Fabio also played a key role in defining and implementing the bank's credit policy and procedures. Boninsegni then moved on to Barclays Bank Plc in 2008, where they first worked as a Credit Officer before being promoted to Corporate Credit Risk Director. In this role, they managed the credit and operational risk of the Italian corporate portfolio, overseeing a team and covering all aspects of the credit process. Fabio joined Dagong Europe Credit Rating in 2013 as a Senior Credit Officer, responsible for developing and updating rating methodologies and criteria for European sovereign, corporate, and financial institutions. Finally, in 2014, Boninsegni joined BFF Banking Group as Director and later became the Head of the Credit Evaluation Department.
Fabio Boninsegni pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at the Faculdade Catolica de Curitiba from 1980 to 1984. Fabio then went on to attend SDA Bocconi in 1986-1987, where they completed a Master's degree in Economics.
