Taylor Book currently serves as the Director of Programs for University Recreation at the University of Arkansas since August 2022. With a robust background in campus recreation, Taylor previously held the position of Director of Campus Recreation at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2019. In addition, Taylor is an ACES Case Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, supporting youth in their college aspirations since September 2017. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Director for Campus Recreation at Wake Forest University from June 2012 to May 2017, where oversight of Intramural and Club Sports was a key responsibility, along with providing guidance to staff and students. Taylor has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at both Wake Forest University and Winston-Salem State University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Leadership from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from James Madison University.
