Giuseppe Banfi

Giuseppe Banfi is an accomplished executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Amministratore Delegato and Managing Director of Biogen Italia since September 2011, also contributing to the European Leadership Team. Previously, Giuseppe held the role of Regional VP for Italy and Eastern European countries at Biogen, overseeing critical markets including Poland and Hungary. Prior to Biogen, Giuseppe was General Manager at Biogen Dompé and held various marketing and sales leadership positions at sanofi-aventis, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Recordati. Giuseppe Banfi earned a Pharmacy degree from the Università degli Studi di Milano, graduating in 1986.
