Jim Kemp

Jim Kemp has over 30 years of work experience in facilities engineering and management. Jim is currently working as the Director of Facilities Engineering at BioMed Realty. Previously, they held various roles at Apple, including Sr O&M Manager and Sr Manager in RE&D Critical Facilities/SPG. Before that, they worked as a Sr Chief Engineer at Oracle, Sr Facilities Manager at ALZA Corporation, and Chief Engineer at Cisco Systems. Jim also has experience as a Lead HVAC Foreman at Air-Com and a Staff SGT for the USAF/Reserve. Jim'searly career includes positions as an HVAC Journeyman at Cal-Air Inc and E-4 Sr Airman in the USAF.

Jim Kemp completed the Non Commissioned Officer Leadership program in Mechanical field at the USAF from 1994-1995. Prior to that, they attended the United States Air Force for Civil Engineering in 1993-1994. Jim also studied Mechanical Systems and obtained an Associate of Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force from 1991-1993. In 2009, they obtained the California Contractor License C-20 HVAC from the California State Licensing Board.
