Kristin Murphy

Kristin Murphy serves as Vice President at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since July 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Director for Federal Government Relations. Prior experience includes Senior Director and Director of Federal Affairs at the Association for Accessible Medicines, as well as Assistant Director of Legislative Affairs at the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. Kristin's background also features roles as a Federal Government Affairs Associate at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Government Relations Specialist with the American Library Association. Other positions include Executive Assistant to Congressman Rick Larsen and roles in political campaigns. Kristin holds an M.B.A. in Health Care Administration from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Dakota.
