Matt Wilshaw-Rhead

Matt Wilshaw-Rhead has extensive experience in aviation safety and compliance, currently serving as Co-Chairperson of the AOA Air Traffic and Airspace Working Group at the Aerodrome Operators Association since June 2020 and as Safety and Compliance Manager at Birmingham Air Traffic Limited since March 2019. Prior roles include Head of Aviation Safety and Compliance at Serco from September 2014 to February 2019, and Manager of Air Traffic Services at Peel Airports from January 2011 to September 2014. Earlier in the career, Matt held positions at Robin Hood Airport as (D)ATSM and served as an Air Traffic Control Officer in the RAF from 1987 to 2008. Matt holds a degree in Business Management from the Chartered Management Institute, completed between 2007 and 2008.
