CFO at Bitfury

Carlo Frondaroli is the CFO of the Bitfury Group. Carlo offers 30 years of experience in international business, mostly serving as a Senior Finance Executive in Technology, Telecoms, Consumer Electronics & Mobile Digital Services sectors, with additional senior roles in Operations, Sales & Strategy; he also served and serving as Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Member, both in large companies (Nokia China Investment Corp; Nokia Telecommunication Ltd), start-ups (Vertu; ZoneV) and not-for-profit organizations.

Carlo as been financially and operationally responsible for large multi-national businesses at Nokia where he was, among the others, Greater China CFO, Vice President Finance for Eastern Markets, Vice President Finance for Global Markets and Operations, and at Lenovo, where he headed the Mobile Business Group Global Sales Operations and was EMEA COO.

Earlier, he co-founded Vertu, the pioneering luxury mobile company, served as CFO in SMEs and was a member of the Executive Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in China. Most recently, he joined Bitfury as Group CFO in April 2021, and he's serving in non-executive positions at Fairtrade International, Manchester Metropolitan University and Zone V Ltd.

He resided in multiple countries and managed most geographies, with particular skew on Emerging Markets, and specialises in growth, scaling & structuring, and international expansion. Carlo enjoys to operate cross functionally, in-between strategy, operations and finance, and to foster collaboration between people across organizations, borders, ethnicities and cultures.

He has a Master Degree in Business Administration from EU Business School, Montreux (CH), a Diploma in Advanced Executive Management from SDA Bocconi, Milan and a degree in applied psychology from Universita’ La Sapienza, Rome.
