Michael Pahlke

Michael Pahlke is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Leiter Technik - Hydraulische Kraftwerke at BKW AG since November 2022, overseeing various technical departments. Previously, Michael held leadership roles at SBB CFF FFS from February 2014 to November 2022, where responsibilities included the establishment and development of competence centers for energy maintenance and large-scale hydro projects. Prior to that, Michael managed eight hydropower plants in Southern Germany at Energiedienst-Gruppe from July 2011 to January 2014, and worked as a specialist for hydropower strategy and oversight at Bundesamt für Energie BFE between April 2008 and June 2011. Michael's educational background includes a CAS in Digital Transformation and Innovation Management from the University of Bern, an Executive MBA in General Management from Berner Fachhochschule BFH, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automation from Berner Fachhochschule BFH.
