Josh Whitney

Josh Whitney is the Senior Vice President of Technology Product Solutions (TPS) at Black Box. Josh has over 20 years of experience in product management, engineering, and sales.

Josh began their career at Marsh Bellofram in 1999. Josh held various positions there over the next two decades, culminating in their role as Senior Vice President / General Manager from July 2019 to June 2021. In this role, they led a group of 8 companies with $70M of revenue and 375 employees.

In July 2021, Josh joined Black Box as the Senior Vice President of TPS. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's technology product solutions team.

Under Josh's leadership, the team has made significant progress in developing new products and increasing velocity. New product introduction time has been reduced by 25+%. The team has also filed multiple patents within 1 year.

In addition to their work at Black Box, Josh also played a vital role in increasing production of medical ventilator components during the Pandemic. Within 45 days, they helped ramp up production to 5x the prior level.

Josh Whitney has a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh - Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
