Cindy Wallis-Lage

Executive Director & President, Water Business at Black & Veatch

Cindy Wallis-Lage is President of Black & Veatch’s water business, leading more than 2,800 professionals in over 75 offices worldwide. Wallis-Lage joined the company in 1986 and is well known in the industry for her expertise in the treatment and reuse of water and wastewater resources, and she is a champion for water’s true value and its impact on sustainable communities. Wallis-Lage has been involved in more than 100 projects globally in both the municipal and industrial sectors. She joined the Black & Veatch Board of Directors in 2012 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Water Alliance and on the Leadership Council for Water For People. Wallis-Lage earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Kansas State University and her master’s degree in environmental health engineering from the University of Kansas. She also serves on the Engineering Advisory Council at Kansas State University.
