Hartesh Chhabra

Hartesh Chhabra has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hartesh began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at CMC Ltd in 1989. Hartesh then moved on to Autodesk where they served as a Software QA Lead/Manager from 1996 to 2003, and later as a Software Development Manager from 2003 to 2009. At Autodesk, they led and managed distributed development teams, and was responsible for development scheduling, status reporting, change management, and risk assessment. Chhabra then joined Accela in 2009 where they held various roles including Sr. Manager of Engineering and Director of Engineering, responsible for leading and mentoring teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality requirements, as well as enabling platform compliance for the Federal market. Currently, Chhabra works at Blackstone Technology Group as the Director of the Trellis Energy Practice, overseeing the development and delivery of software and services in the energy industry. Trellis Energy's flagship software solution integrates and optimizes enterprise-wide transactions and provides the benefits of a SaaS, private cloud, and on-premise solution.

Hartesh Chhabra completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra in the years 1985 to 1989. In 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. They also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from Udemy in December 2021, Introduction to Data Analytics for Managers from edX in February 2021, Scrum Testing: Learn Agile and Scrum Testing from A to Z NOW from Udemy in January 2020, PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2009, Leadership for Strategic Execution and Converting Strategy into Action from Stanford University in December 2008 and August 2008 respectively, Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 from Sun Microsystems in January 2001, E-Commerce Business and Technology from UC Berkeley in April 2000, and Agile Certified Professional from the Project Management Institute in February 2014.
