Mitchell Brand

Mitchell Brand is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in financing transactions, currently serving as a Partner at Blank Rome LLP since April 2019. In this role, Mitchell represents lenders and financial institutions, including hedge funds, private equity firms, and banks, in structuring, negotiating, and documenting financing transactions. Prior to Blank Rome LLP, Mitchell held the position of Partner and Co-Chair of the Finance and Restructuring Practice Group at Stradley Ronon from June 2014 to March 2019, with similar responsibilities. Mitchell’s career also includes a long tenure as a Partner at Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen, P.C. from 1981 to June 2014, where representation extended to commercial finance companies and other institutional investors in various finance specialties. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree obtained summa cum laude from Union College and a law degree from Emory University School of Law, where Mitchell served as Editor-in-Chief of the Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law.
