Mitchell Newmark

Mitchell Newmark is a Partner at Blank Rome LLP, specializing in state and local taxation litigation and appeals across various administrative and judicial levels, with a focus on complex transactions. In addition to his role at Blank Rome LLP, Newmark has served as Co-Chairman for the State Tax Practice & Liaison Committee of the NJ Bar Tax Section since 2005 and previously held the position of Partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where the emphasis was also on state and local taxation matters. Newmark has contributed to the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court and the New Jersey Bar's Tax Section, where Mitchell served as Chairman. Previously, Newmark was a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, handling diverse litigation matters and received Attorney General’s Recognition Awards.
