Stephen Whelan

Stephen Whelan is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in asset securitization, equipment leasing, secured transactions, corporate trust, and energy finance. Currently a Partner at Blank Rome LLP since October 2011, Stephen has previously held significant roles as a Partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP and Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP, where tenure spanned from 1975 to 2008. Additionally, Stephen served as Chairman at The Witherspoon Institute from 2006 to 2016 and was a trustee at Cloister Inn during the same period. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and an AB in History from Princeton University.
