William Dorsey

William Dorsey is a prominent attorney and founding partner of Blank Rome LLP's Chicago office, where William serves as Co-Chair of the Corporation Litigation Practice Group since June 2019. With extensive expertise in commercial finance litigation, real estate disputes, and contested merger and acquisition transactions, William has built a strong reputation in the legal field. Prior to his current role, William was a partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP from August 2002 to June 2019, focusing on creditors’ rights, real estate, and complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. Earlier in his career, William held associate and attorney positions at Baker & McKenzie and Polsinelli Shughart PC, respectively. William earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College.
