Ronald G. Huggins

Ronald G. Huggins, PhD, CIH, CSP has extensive experience in various leadership roles related to environmental health and safety. Currently, they are the Director of Consulting Services at NES, where they manage and develops the Consulting Group staff in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety, Stormwater, Safety, Environmental, and Compliance Program. Ronald G. also has full P&L responsibilities for the Consulting Group and assists the Business Development Team in securing new opportunities. Prior to this, Ronald served as the Corporate Safety and Business Services Manager at Enercon Services, Inc., where they were responsible for growing the safety services business and ensuring corporate safety excellence. Before that, they worked as the Director of Corporate Global EHS & Security at Blue Bird Corporation, overseeing EHS and Security operations globally and successfully implementing sustainability programs and compliance management systems. Ronald G. also held positions such as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Teva Pharmaceuticals, the Global Corporate Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety at SEL, the Director of Industrial Hygiene Services at ECS Limited, Florida, and the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at KimSafe International. Throughout their career, Ronald has achieved significant milestones, including reducing occupational injuries and illnesses, implementing successful environmental programs, and developing online training programs.

Ronald G. Huggins, PhD, CIH, CSP holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Hygiene/Toxicology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Ronald G. also obtained a Master's of Public Health degree in Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Health from the same institution. Prior to that, they earned a Master's of Science degree in Environmental Biology from New Mexico Highlands University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, General from Colorado College. Additionally, they have certifications in Six Sigma Foundations, Operational Excellence Foundations, and Emergency Management Institute (IEMC) from FEMA. Ronald G. is also certified as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP). Ronald G. has completed training in Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (HUET) and holds a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
