Malorie Maddox

Chief Communications & Marketing Officer

Malorie Maddox is the chief communications and marketing officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE). In her role, she leads the internal and external communications, digital marketing, advertising and brand, visual communications and corporate social responsibility teams. She also serves as executive sponsor of BCBSNE’s Diversity and Inclusion Business Council.


Previously, Maddox spent 20 years as an award-winning journalist. She has been recognized with numerous Associated Press and Nebraska Broadcast Association awards, including an Emmy for her 30-minute special, “Mothers Who Kill.”


Maddox was recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Omahans and honored with the Tribute to Women Award. She was also featured in several magazines, including Metro magazine’s “Gamechanger” profile, in Omaha magazine and in a recent follow-up titled “Born Leader” for Edge magazine’s five-year anniversary.


In addition to emceeing more than 500 events for organizations in Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas, Maddox has presented as a keynote speaker and panelist at various events throughout the heartland.


Maddox, a native of Kansas, is a graduate of the University of Kansas.
