Carmen Heredia-Lopez

Carmen Heredia-Lopez, CFA, is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Executive Director of Investments at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association since September 2022. In addition, Carmen is a Board Member at PFM Multi-Manager Series Trust and a member of the Investment Advisory Panel for the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, providing guidance on investment strategy and oversight. Previously, Carmen held key roles at the Illinois Student Assistance Commission as Chief Accountability Officer and Chief Investment Officer, overseeing an $800 million portfolio. Carmen's extensive experience includes serving as Director of Investments at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and Chief Investment Officer at the Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund. Carmen holds an MBA in International Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in International Management from Georgetown University.
