Sam Butterbaugh

Sam Butterbaugh, CISA, currently serves as the Director of Corporate Internal Audit and Director of IT Internal Audit at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, roles held since June 2017. During this tenure, Sam has also functioned as Manager of IT Audit and Principal IT Risk Management Consultant. Prior to this, Sam worked at RSM US LLP from February 2014 to June 2017 as a Senior Associate and Associate in Risk Advisory Services. Experience also includes a position as a Business Systems Analyst at Emerson Process Management from February 2013 to February 2014, and a Technology Consultant Intern at Protiviti in June 2012. Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the UMN Carlson School of Management.
