Chris Ng

Chris Ng has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting from 1998, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they designed scheduling algorithms and implemented programmable network switch hardware. In 2000, they worked as an Engineer at Nortel Networks, participating in the development of virtual collaboration and personal information management systems. From 2001 to 2003, they served as a Senior Applications Engineer at Oracle, designing and implementing database applications using Oracle Database and Java. Chris then worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University, where they designed algorithms for teleo-reactive artificial intelligence systems. In 2004, they were a Researcher at Intel Corporation. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on network coding and optimization. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, applying optimization algorithms and machine learning techniques to improve cellular performance. In 2012, they founded ColboNet Limited, where they created educational gaming software and implemented text associative analysis algorithms. Chris'smost recent position is at Blue Danube Systems, where they have held roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Director of Systems Engineering Products.

Chris Ng has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Engineering Science (Computer Option) from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Chris then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 2000 to 2001. Continuing their studies at Stanford University, Chris completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from 2003 to 2007.
