George Romanko

George Romanko has spent their career in Human Resources and Talent Development. George is currently the Head of HR & Talent at Blue Note Therapeutics. Prior to their current role, George was an independent consultant, and before that, they were the Director of Organization and Talent Development at Actelion.

At Actelion, George was responsible for leading Learning & Development initiatives and culture across the organization. George was tasked with taking talent management to a new level, reviewing and redesigning existing talent infrastructure, and developing a strategy and roadmap for creating and sustaining a culture of best-in-class across the US. George also provided high-level strategic support to the VP of HR and senior management as a trusted advisor and sounding board. In addition, they led Actelion’s innovation practice, driving the strategic vision and ensuring application throughout the various business functions.

George has a proven track record in talent development and management, with a focus on building world-class talent development functions and high-performance organizations. George is known for their ability to challenge thinking across HR organizations and businesses, in order to create strong cultures of learning, development, and knowledge sharing. George’s experience in designing and implementing broad initiatives makes him well-suited to their current role at Blue Note Therapeutics.

George Romanko has a MA in Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of San Francisco with an International Studies Emphasis. George also has a BA in Communications from Trenton State College (College of New Jersey).

George Romanko reports to Geoff Eich, CEO. They are on a team with Alexia Downs - Director, Patient Service Center, Michelle Rubin-Onur - Regulatory Lead, and Tim Clark - Director of Engineering.
