Andrew Allport

Andrew Allport is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in tooling and build support within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as the Tooling and Build Support Engineering Manager at Blue Origin since January 2025, Allport is responsible for managing the build support team and bridging technical gaps between design and manufacturing. As a co-founder of Lowrider Cookie Company, Allport has played a crucial role in the company's expansion, including the opening of a retail location at Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Previous roles at Blue Origin included senior management of tooling for the New Glenn rocket and positions as a Tool Design Engineer at Perellion and Support Equipment Engineer at Northrop Grumman. His career began with engineering positions at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Electroimpact. Andrew Allport holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
