Shareh Ghani

Shareh Ghani, M.D. is an experienced medical director currently serving at Blue Shield of California and Ocean Psychiatry Inc. since July 2021 and January 2021, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as VP Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer at Magellan Health from 2007 to July 2021, and as Chief Psychiatrist at Choices Network of Arizona from 2008 to 2010. Shareh Ghani also held the position of Medical Director at ValueOptions from 2003 to 2007, and worked at Evergreen Medical Center from 1999 to 2003 as Psychiatrist and Medical Director of The Pines, Crisis Stabilization Unit. Academic training includes a medical degree from Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama, where Shareh Ghani completed a psychiatry residency from 1995 to 1999.
