Julien Rolland

Julien Rolland is a highly experienced technical leader in the field of battery technology, currently serving as the Technical Leader for Cathode Development and Electrolyte Formulation at Blue Solutions since August 2023. Prior to this role, Julien held positions as an R&D Engineer at ACC - Automotive Cells Company, where advancements in prismatic lithium-ion cell design for electric vehicles were achieved, and at Tiamat Energy, where manufacturing processes for sodium-ion battery prototypes were optimized. Julien's foundational experience includes previous work as an R&D Engineer at Blue Solutions focusing on lithium metal polymer batteries and a Research Assistant at Université catholique de Louvain, contributing to the development of safer lithium-metal battery electrolytes. Julien holds a PhD in Material Sciences and a Master's degree in Chemical Sciences, both from Université catholique de Louvain.
