Jakob Bork has worked in various positions in the technology industry since 2001. Jakob began their career as a student at Aalborg University in 2001. In 2003, they took on a student worker role at Siemens Mobile Phones, where they carried out conformance tests of mobile phones during development. In 2006, they began their PhD at Aalborg University and Max Planck Stuttgart. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Head of Section at NanoLab at Aalborg University, doing work in a cleanroom environment and making transistors in standard CMOS Silicon technology. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Mekoprint. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Team Lead and Project Manager at SerEnergy A/S. Jakob is currently the Production Technology Manager at Blue World Technologies.
Jakob Bork attended Aalborg University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned an M. Sc in Applied Physics. From 2005 to 2006, they also attended KU Leuven as part of an Erasmus program in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Prior to this, Jakob Bork attended Varde Gymnasium and Alslev skole.
