Jason Goodwin

Jason Goodwin has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Jason is currently working as a Principal Developer at BlueCat since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a self-employed Proprietary Trader, where they gained extensive experience in trading markets. Jason also worked as the Principal Engineer at Dark Startup from April 2021 to April 2022, where they built various things with code, mainly using Rust, Golang, and frontend technologies. Jason also worked at Elastic as a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud from February 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at FunnelCloud, where they designed core services and introduced new technologies like Elixir and Scala. Jason also co-founded RedElastic, a consulting company focused on distributed systems. Jason has prior experience as a Software Engineer at Google and Development Manager at Rogers Communications. Additionally, they worked as a Scala and Akka Platform Developer at mDialog and as a Full Stack Java Developer at CiRBA. Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for learning and implementing new technologies.

Jason Goodwin attended Fleming College from 2004 to 2007, where they studied International Business. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Python 3 Programming Specialization" from Coursera in 2020, the "Big Data Expert II" from TranQuant Inc. in 2018, and the "ITIL v3 Foundation" certification from ITIL.
