Ronnie Lum

Ronnie Lum is an experienced professional in the field of biochemistry and assay development, currently serving as Associate Director of Assay Development at BlueRock Therapeutics since January 2022. Previously, Ronnie held positions as Director of Process Development and Formulation at Vital Bio and Development Manager/Scientist II at CCRM. With a strong background in assay design and development, Ronnie contributed to the creation of multiplexed panels for bloodstream infection detection and developed methodologies for enhanced assay specificity and sensitivity. Previous roles at Qvella Corporation, Luminex Corporation, and Aptose Biosciences involved leading initiatives for pharmacogenetic panels, clinical validation of assays, and drug development support. Academic experience includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, with postdoctoral research focused on molecular chaperones and teaching roles in biochemistry and molecular biology.
