André Amado is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Head of IT Governance & IT Risk Officer at BNP Paribas Cardif, André is responsible for defining IT and Cyber Risk Management strategies for the Latin America region. Prior roles include Head of Risk Management at Bitso Brasil, where oversight of operational, market, liquidity, and credit risks was undertaken. Previous positions included leadership in procurement and fraud prevention at Allianz Partners and internal audit management at Europ Assistance and Chubb Insurance. With a strong academic background, including an MBA and degrees in Accounting and Computer Science, André brings a wealth of expertise in risk assessment, project management, and strategic governance.
