Stephanie Piekos

Stephanie Piekos, PhD, currently serves as Principal Scientist in Nonclinical Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics at Boehringer Ingelheim, a position held since May 2018, after previously working as a Senior Scientist in the same field within the company. Prior to this role, Stephanie spent approximately six years at the University of Connecticut, initially as a Graduate Research Assistant, where research focused on the environmental factors influencing hepatic cytochrome P450 expression and the implications for personalized medicine, including investigations into neonatal drug exposure and its long-term effects. Stephanie also contributed as an Administrative Assistant and Summer Intern at Boehringer Ingelheim, performing studies on cytochrome P450 induction and regulatory assessments. The academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology/Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology, both obtained from the University of Connecticut.
