VP, Corporate Audit at Boeing

Shannon Schroeder is the vice president of Corporate Audit for the newly formed Enterprise Operations, Finance and Strategy organization at The Boeing Company.

Named to her position in February 2020, Schroeder leads Corporate Audit activities to provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve company operations by performing internal auditing activities, including evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's governance, risk management and control processes.

In addition to reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s controls and processes, Schroeder leverages a diverse team of audit professionals to mitigate risk and support accurate financial reporting. She also serves as a member of Enterprise Operations, Finance and Strategy leadership team.

Schroder joined Boeing after 23 years with Schlumberger, an international oilfield services company, where she led global teams in financial control and audit, as well as drove organizational change in multicultural environments spanning North America, Europe, Africa, Russia and Asia. Most recently, she was the chief audit executive overseeing the global internal audit function and directing the internal audit staff.

In her previous roles, Schroeder served as vice president and CFO for various business units, most recently Cameron, a global manufacturer of oilfield equipment, preceded by M-I SWACO, a global drilling fluids solutions and equipment business, as well as for oilfield services in the Asia region. During her career, she has lived in the United Kingdom, France, Malaysia and the United States, working in various business segments, research and development and in process improvement roles.

She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
