Dave MacAulay

Dave Macaulay is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in leading teams and driving software initiatives in the e-commerce sector. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Bold Commerce since June 2022, Dave manages multiple teams focused on various company areas, fostering agile practices and supporting individual career growth. Prior experience at Adobe Commerce includes roles as Sr. Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Engineer, where Dave contributed to the PWA Studio project and emphasized automation and team alignment. Earlier roles span from Senior Magento Developer at GENE Commerce to Junior Web Developer at GSB Associates, where foundational skills in web development and e-commerce were established. Dave holds an Advanced Apprenticeship in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Brighton MET and has completed AS level studies at Varndean College.
