Karnina Szymanski

Karnina Szymanski is the President of Insurance at Bold Penguin. Karnina has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in commercial lines underwriting, claims process improvement, and small business insurance marketing.

Szymanski began their career in insurance at Progressive in 2004 as a Small Business Process Manager for Strategic Accounts. In this role, they were responsible for developing product offerings and marketing strategy for Progressive's small business customers. In 2014, they became the Small Business Insurance Marketing Process Leader, overseeing the development and implementation of Progressive's business owners and workers compensation product offerings. In 2018, they were promoted to Director of Claims Process Improvement. In this role, they were responsible for streamlining Progressive's claims process and improving customer satisfaction.

In October 2018, Szymanski left Progressive to join Farmers Insurance as Senior Director of Commercial Lines Underwriting. In this role, they were responsible for custom account underwriting for Farmers' commercial lines customers. Karnina left Farmers in January 2020 to join Bold Penguin as President of Insurance.

Karnina Szymanski has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Youngstown State University.
