Yuan Yuan

Yuan Yuan currently serves as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Boston College and is a member of the Harvard Innovation Labs since January 2024. Previously, Yuan was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at MIT CSAIL under the supervision of Dina Katabi, focusing on machine learning, medical AI, and vision from November 2019 to October 2023. Additional experience includes being a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Alibaba Group, contributing to ASR/NLP/NLU for the Tmall Genie, and participating in various research roles at Tencent, Carnegie Mellon University, and Microsoft. Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and has taught courses at New York University.
