Matt Pirko

Matt Pirko, SSCP, currently serves as a Cybersecurity Compliance Assessor at Boston Government Services, LLC since April 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant at Tribalco from February 2022 to April 2023, and Principal at JesRico Consulting from January 2011 to February 2022, where consultation focused on cybersecurity issues and cyber-resilient community structures. Additionally, Matt held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at Baylor University from January 2015 to August 2021 and co-owned Sempre Pie, a small business, from July 2014 to June 2015. Earlier experience encompasses serving as Operations Manager at the West Long Term Recovery Center and Site Manager roles at ManTech International and ManTech SMA. Matt's 20-year military career with the United States Air Force culminated in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Information Systems/Cyber Security from Baylor University and a Master's in Information Resource Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
