Helen Song

Helen Song is an experienced professional in research and development, currently serving as an Associate R&D Manager at Boston Scientific since September 2022. In this role, Helen leads design control and DHF remediation efforts for commercial devices to ensure compliance with global quality procedures, and is developing a new site-wide design verification process. Prior to this, Helen held several positions at Baylis Medical Company, advancing from R&D Engineer I to Staff R&D Engineer, where notable achievements include leading the development of packaging solutions for transseptal access devices and designing comprehensive sterile barrier systems per ISO standards. Additional experience includes roles at the Smart Polymers & Composites Lab and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, focusing on the development of medical devices and testing of innovative materials.
