Matthew Erikson

Matthew Erikson is an accomplished publicist and media relations expert with extensive experience in the arts sector, currently serving as the Senior Publicist and Media Relations Lead for the Boston Symphony Orchestra since January 2019. Prior roles include Senior Publicist at the San Francisco Opera, where responsibilities included writing and editing for the San Francisco Opera Magazine, and various communication and public relations positions at organizations such as the Handel and Haydn Society and Arizona Opera. Matthew's background also encompasses radio hosting, having contributed to Aspen Public Radio and WRR Classical 101.1, as well as journalism roles with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Hartford Courant.
