Julie Springwater

Julie Springwater is a highly experienced professional in child welfare and social services, currently serving as a Senior Fellow at the Child Welfare League of America since March 2024. With a long-standing affiliation with Boston University School of Social Work as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Past Chair of Macro Practice since September 1996, Springwater has also retired from the role of Executive Director at Judge Baker Children's Center after nearly three decades of service. Notable past positions include leadership roles at the Child Welfare League of America, where Springwater held various governance positions from September 2003 to September 2022, and board memberships at organizations such as Family Continuity and Casey Family Services.
