Anne Mcfarland

Anne Mcfarland is a Non-Executive Director at Botswana Diamonds. Anne has also served as a Director at Botswana Diamonds Plc from September 2014 to January 2021. Anne has a long and successful history in finance, working as the CFO for Segezha Packaging from January 2006 to October 2012, a packaging company for the building and food industry with subsidiaries in Holland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Czech, Romania, Turkey, Serbia, Ukraine and Russia. Prior to that, they worked as a shareholder representative for Sidanco from January 1998 to December 2002, an oil production, refining and marketing company in Russia. From January 1990 to December 1998, Anne was the CFO for Glencore's Moscow office. Her experience also includes working as a tax consultant and management consultant for Stoy Hayward from January 1987 to December 1990 and as an auditor and insolvency specialist for KPMG from January 1983 to December 1986.

Anne Mcfarland has a BA from Trinity College, Dublin. Anne also has a Diploma in Law and Sport from the Law Society of Ireland. In 2014, they completed a Diploma in Corporate Governance from University College Dublin.
