Janice Attard-Johnson

Janice Attard-Johnson is an accomplished academic currently serving as a Lecturer and Deputy Head of Department at Bournemouth University since September 2017. Previously, Janice held the position of Associate Lecturer at the University of Kent from August 2012 to January 2017, teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Janice's research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant focusing on cognitive techniques, such as eye tracking, to assess behaviors in offending populations and studies on face recognition relevant to eyewitness identification. Additional experience includes working as a Learning Disability Support Worker at Turning Point and delivering personalized interventions for children on the Autism Spectrum at INSPIRE. Janice holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuropsychology and has earned both an MSc in Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology and a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Psychology from higher education institutions in the UK and Malta.
