Evan Wong

Evan Wong is an experienced Data Engineer currently working at bp since August 2019, where responsibilities include collaborating with data managers to understand project requirements and designing secure workflow architectures, as well as leading a team of data engineers. Prior to this role, Evan served as a Junior Figure Skating Coach at Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center and completed a Big Data Co-op at GSK, focusing on cloud migration and data pipeline design using Azure technologies. Earlier work experience includes positions as a Senior Customer Care Specialist at Conduent and a Retail Specialist at Apple Store. Evan holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Houston Christian University.
