BRAC

Sheela Rahman is the Director of Legal and Compliance at BRAC, where they manage the legal affairs of the largest nonprofit organization in Bangladesh. With extensive experience as in-house counsel, litigator, and arbitration counsel, they have developed expert legal knowledge in banking, corporate finance, and commercial matters. Prior to their current role, they worked as a consultant for the IFC and served as an advocate at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, providing legal support to a wide range of clients. Sheela holds an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Calabar, an LL.M. from UCL, and is a Barrister-at-law from the Council of Legal Education.
